after dealer visit....

check engine came on...dealer fixed low pressure fuel sensor & VANOS solenoids. car only has 34k on it. they also said they reflashed my car. i have a manual. but it feels like it is ALOT slower now. what happened? they also checked my exhaust to make sure a vacuum line was connected for the operation of the flap on exhaust pipe? i bought the car with a BASTUCK exhaust. why does my car sound quieter and slower?

Because you need a tune

You can unplug the vac line to your exhaust flap again if you want a little more sound.

The car probably just needs to readapt with the new parts and software. Should be back to normal in a few days. Unless you had a reflash before such as Dinan and thats now gone?

The flap's in the stock drivers side muffler. If you have any kind of aftermarket muffler, you have no flap.

You probably had a tune installed by the previous owner and the dealership took it out/ flashed over it

There were a lot of reports by members that once they got the latest DME reflash, they noticed their car (in stock configuration) to be noticeably LESS responsive.

I personally could not believe the before and after difference when they reflashed my car a year ago.

Tons more turbo lag.

Reinstalling my Procede cured the problem fortunately, but I think if I had to stay stock......I would have sold the car by now.
