'07 with 85,000. Only problems were water pump, valve cover gasket leak, and wastegate rattle. All fixed under warranty. Most reliable auto I've owned.

You forgot miles.

Also did you DIY any more of that or did you go to a dealer?

Dealer quoted me $2,700 for a bunch of maintenance items and I rented a lift for 6 hours ($120) and did it all for $450 in parts.

07 328i MT sport. 220K km.

Most of the regular stuff went. Water pump, valve and filter gasket, starter. Mine was one of those where the main battery cable corroded (warranty). The seat airbag sensor is sporadically non-functional but I'm not on the recall list. I'll have to code it out.

I rolled over 90k last week. Being deployed every other year helps keep my milage down

had to rebuild the suspension on the front driver's side after someone hit a curb to hard.
my AC motor went out around 87k
my wiper fluid motor went out at82k
modded intakes turbos intercooler downpipes and chargepipe around 80k

that's all I can remember other that normal maintenance. I got it after sometimes lease was up in 2010 with around 30k

Original owner, 24K, just passed its 9th birthday.

Pretty much *every* known E90 328i problem under the original warranty. And a couple of unique ones.

Most recent repair was replacement of the cup holders. And I never drink anything in the car. Whatever lube BMW uses in the cup holders must fossilize.

Need to replace the upper windshield trim, and the (original) tires are getting old. Headlights are beginning to cloud.

Garage List
2007 - 94,500
I've owned the car a little over a year. Only have put about 3K miles on it.

Previous owner did the water pump, and had the HPFP replaced under warranty. Still on the original injectors, and original turbos.

I have gone FBO and have done the usual N54 maintenance: Vacuum lines, valve cover gasket, transmission pan/fluid, rear diff fluid, spark plugs, ignition coils, boost solenoids, and recently did a carbon cleaning.

Next up is the belt, tensioner, pullies, and OFHG.

I have not had a single part go bad, just preventive maintenance.

07 328i coupe 6MT has 103k miles. Nothing but regular maintenance so far. Going to replace water pump anyways just in case. Overall, car is still so healthy that I finally pulled the trigger on the performance exhaust last month. Only regret is not buying it earlier.

Crank Case Vent Valve ( have to replace entire component of course )
Vanos solenoids
Coils
Plugs
Eccentric shaft sensor
Crank shaft position sensor
both engine mounts

Still have a small oil leak to fix

Had a limp mode/ gearbox lamp come on and there is a transmission issue with gear ration 4-5 / most likely needs to be replaced

Both headlights are shorted , so no angel eyes or daytime runners until i replace entire fixture ( 1200 bucks )

Rough idle on start up ( hopefully carbon build up in the intake even though its not D.I )

is the only unplanned, non-wear-and-tear, expense I've ever had. Needless to say, I've been extremely pleased with this car... have yet to really think about a replacement.
