Hey guys i really want to get the remus quad exhaust with mtech rear and quad diffuser, now my question is how will it sound on my car i cant find any videos, all i can find is videos of 335is with them. Now i know it wont give me much of a performance boost but i just want the quad look and i know it sounds really good on the 335is

The 330i has the same engine designation as the 328i, being an N52. It is configured and tuned to put out more hp but it's fundamentally the same. In regards to exhaust systems, the aftermarket systems are universal between the NA N51, N52 & N53 motors as the main differences are in the engine and intake systems. The stock exhaust is slightly different but aftermarket systems are free flow so it is all about note and style.

The 325i and 330i were 06 models only. Both cars came with 3.0L engines, one stage and 3 stage intake manifolds respectively. Your car will sound the same as the 325i with the exhaust more or less. Thus, the Remus exhaust you see on the 325i will be reflective of your 330i.

The 328i and 335i were 07+ models. 328i replaced the 325i while the 335i replaced the 330i. All 3.0L engines with the latter being twin-turboed.

In Canada we also had the 323i, which came with a 2.5L.

ohhh i see well damn because i heard the remus on that 325i abd it doesnt sound worth the $1300 however i heard it in a 335i and it sounds sexy as shit but maybe that could be becuase the 335i wasnt stock?

yea for my car exhaust is just about sound preference because performance gains are shitty with these n/a little v6 motors :/

If you want loud sound go for a muffler delete. Cheap and sounds decent. 335i sounds different because of the turbos, some people like it while others prefer the raw sound of the NA's.

Ok, 3.0 liter sixers or not really little and maybe you should have a heart to heart with your car, BMW does not make a V6. It is an inline six, that is what makes them so smooth and more powerful than many competitors compatible displacement engines.

As of sound, you will not make one car sound like another. For the money, get the PE, 1k buys a 7% power gain and a nice note. Personally, I think the separated quad exhaust looks ricy on a bimmer, kind of like an M3 with a wide butt.
