Get it put on by Terrance he's in kileen Texas, he has a devils meth kit. I was planning to do it with him, but I'm worried about getting caught in a hail storm so I'm gonna wait for a bit prob. Further down in the sw forums

terrence is a good guy and he def knows his stuff. If you dont want to drive that far then you guys are more than welcome to install at my place in waco. will save you about an hours drive to killeen. I have a garage and lots of tools.

btw make sure OP reads the posts about the CMGS cuz I've heard people have had problems with that brand. Search forums. Maybe devils like terrance has or snows which I have. I know formerboosted_is did an extensive review of snows. Keep ur options open cause if it takes you 3 hrs to get to kileen then if anything breaks or comes loose or faulters back at home, that means ur gonna need to go 3hrs to get help from terrance again.

i understand but i want something that integrates good with the jb3 and has the failsafe what do u guys recommend ?
and jpurvis08 if we can do that and terrance agrees ill buy the cf vinyl as well and have ur boy rap my roof for me like you said

I have my roof wrapped also and it looks great, his installer is pretty good in Waco. The CM kit is ok. I installed a DO kit and a CM kit in Houston a couple weeks ago. When I left both kits were working fine. By the time I got home the next day the CM kit cmgs gauge had stopped working. He said he heard a weird noise from the pump and then the gauge went out. I tried to trouble shoot anything possible of what it might be over the phone but it still wouldn't work. So I told the kwan to just send me the gauge and let me test something. When it got to me I tested it and it was dead as a doornail. So I mailed it back to CM and they replaced it. The DO kit owner kit works flawlessly and still does. I hooked them up the same way, I use to have a CM kit so I know how to hook up the cmgs gauge. My cmgs gauge worked and never went out the way his did so I couldn't tell you what happened at all. To tell you the truth and this is just MHO. The failsafe is not really needed and more of a selling point to make users feel safe. I am running the basic DO kit with nitrous with no issues whatsoever, our DME is a work of art. I have systems in place that let me know my meth is flowing(LEDs, tuning gauge).Now while I think the CM cmgs gauge is a nice peice, the failsafe works off of the flow sensor which is a POS. I went through 2 of them and it never fails to start off working then a couple days down the line it will slowly start to stop working. And if the safety system is based off of that POS you might as well don't have any failsafe at all. Now you might think it was just mines, but do a search and I have local friends running it who can tell you the same thing. Now i'm not telling you not to be totally safe and not get the failsafe, if it makes you sleep better at night by all means get it this is just MHO about it.

Ok I was considering both the devils own or cmgs but I also have read couple of bad things about the cm. What all do I need for te devils own kit and where did u get the LEDs to show u that it's working? If you can send me a link I would appreciate it. I might also get an intercooler and have u install it while am there as well thanks for your help

Btw I have the stett charge pipe with the tial bov I heard the bov shoots out some method that true is that bad?

All Bov will shoot out a little meth either when you let off the gas or shift, but its really not an issue. I have been running the DO basic kit for along time with no issues. Its not until recently have I upgraded to their progressive controller and I love this little thing. The controller has 3 leds on it, and 2 dials to set your min and max boost. 1.Red power led, this lights up when you turn the ignition on or start the car. 2.green led for when you hit your minimum boost, it lights up dim and gets brighter the higher the psi and as you get closer to your max boost setting. 3.Yellow led, this led does multiple things. 1. It does a system test upon startup to make sure everything is working. 2. It lights up when you have hit 95-100% DC(basically when you hit your high boost target to let you know you are now spraying 100%. 3. you can hook it to a low level fluid sensor and it will blink continuosly when the meth is low. In addition to this I also mounted 3 leds in my ashtray. 1.red led, lights up also when the meth is low. 2.yellow led, to tell me when the nitrous is spraying. 3.green led, to tell me when my solenoid is receiving power and the second stage of meth is spraying when the nitrous sprays. I also have the tuning gauge in place to watch my iats fall flat on their face(I love that gauge and I am never giving it up lol). Like I said before the stage1 kit was so reliable I was comfortable running it with nitrous. If it wasn't for seeing the dvc-30 controller in action with the stage2 kit when I went to houston to do an install, I would still be running the basic kit. Look over the DO kit and the parts you get with it, the quality is amazing compared to CM IMHO.

The tank and the float switch is an extra $20 which is a pretty sweet deal.

So i researched devil own kit and i heard great reviews am gonna go with the stage 2 and hopefully everything will be ok
