I might change the 335D for........
the new Nissan Skyline. I was thinking about getting a GT3 early next year but seeing as the write-up has been so good on the Skyline i'm going to see if i can get a test drive and see what its like. Still think its an ugly thing but it might do for the odd track day and work call outs.

You have an Atom for a track car, skyhook is ugly, keep the 335d! or get an M5 tourer!

Is this what you mean...
http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/carrevi...issan_gtr.html the GT-R? I think it looks amazing and will carry so much road presence. Good on you!

Well i do really but i have to say i might be able to kill two birds with one stone if the GT-R is really that good. The write-ups which i've seen say the Atom 3 is amazing and so i've got a feeling that a GT3 might be a bit of a waste of money . The only thing that i can see putting me off is having to get out of the bloody thing every 200-300 miles to fill the Nissan up .... oh and how ugly it looks too........ |

I don't think it looks ugly but my experience of Nissan service would put me off. But there again if you can afford it you can afford to fill it up with juice and get it serviced.
Regards Chris

Sorry but the badge snob in me shoots right to the surface! 55K!, even if it is a monster and a legend and targetting porsche, i'd rather spend the dough on a used M5 or new M3

There's some interesting stuff out there on the GT-R.
This thread has some good info,if you ignore some of the barbed comments, there is a lot of info about the car: http://forum.evotechnik.net/showthread.php?t=18586 This youtube clip is quite a good watch. There's some interesting 'detailing' going on half way through. The all-new 2008 GT-R is like no other Nissan currently in production, not only because of its supercar performance but also because of its exorbitant (for a Nissan) price tag. That's why production of the super-coupe at Nissan's Tochigi plant in Japan, involves a lot more hands on action than your run of the mill Nissan, from the bodywork to the drivetrain. |
