Nice! When i bought my D last month i was looking for either space grey, alpine, or sapphire. Space grey with msport looks really good. Im also on micheline PSS, they are super grippy, but a lil noisy. enjoy the torque!

I looked for a year and a half for a Tasman Metallic Green 335d with saddle brown and sport package. Bid on a couple at auctions, but did not get them.
Finally had to "settle" for Space Gray because I couldn't pass up the deal.

I still search for my green unicorn. No luck.

I almost pulled the trigger on a Tasman car, but it was gone by the time I called the dealer (in Tucson, AZ).

Kaylin, That is a cool picture of downtown Dallas in the background. It looks like you got an Msport but had the other wheels instead of 193s. Nice car. I need to meet up with joe_planet and xbox next time i go home. Not sure if you're a Dallas person or just snapped the picture. Good quality photo too.

Those 189s are very prone to bends

Not really. I changed my 162 for the 189s back in 2010. My car look was refreshed and really looked like a 2010 instead of 06' which it is... Really happy ever since..

I used to fix mine (especially rear ones) every summer. But then again, that was with RFTs which do not have much give. And roads around here are just fine. I could not imagine having those with RFTs and some poor quality pavement. They do look great though.

Yes, that's my car on a bridge near my house. I got kinda lucky with the position of the sun on that one. Those are the wheels it came with when new, but you're not the first one to comment on them being atypical. And yes, it's an M-sport.

They switched out your m wheels for those, sold the m wheels made a few bucks and gave you the non sport, they look good but I see dealerships do this all the time, unless you ordered it that way...

Saw one of these at a ford dealership in San Fernando valley and loved it... But it's not my style.

Those are LCI 335i sport package wheels, which replaced the pre-LCI 162's with 7 spokes. I think the M Sport wheels are the worst of the bunch. Next worst? 335d sport wheels. Have I offended everyone yet?

I agree that the 335d sport wheels are pretty lame (hence the reason I ditched them) but the m-sport wheels are far from being bad. Don't think I ever met one person who thought the wheels were even "meh." If they ever do crack, I'm thinking of jumping on the Apex ARC-8 wheels in gunmetal for some lightweight action.
