Vancouver area remap

Hi everyone.

Im a newer d owner looking for a shop in Vancouver or the lower mainland that can remap. I found Ecuprogam in Calgary but just wondering if i can save the road trip.

Why don't you just ship your ECU for a retune. Probably thee-four days turnaround. It will cost you shipping and may be a rental for the period if you do not have access to a second car. As far as I know and have checked, there are no speedshops in the Lower Mainland that can do a tune for you. And even if you find someone, wouldn't you want a tested and tried retune that is already proven.

Malone tuning from BC, he tunes more diesels than anyone and his tunes for the BMW in my opinion is the best on the market...

you can still use the website to locate a dealer, I just looked they are all over your area, I have used Malone exclusively for all my diesels and he is the best hands down, others can say different that is fine, I just know for a fact you cant go wrong with his tunes...

If you do use Malone for your bmw let me know how it is, I want to flash mine also...I have a Malone dealer about 2 miles from my home...

Yeah i see they have a dealer 5min from my place. Not sure if they do it at the dealer or if they need to send it to Malone.

Im off work after tomorrow so ill keep you posted as to wheat i find out

They don't have to send it to Malone they will bench flash it there it will take 30 min and you will have the best tune out there. I'm going to do it after I get bmw to approve the tune, I still have a warranty.

Awesome, I'm more excited than you to see, I have had 5 cars tuned by Malone and all were and night a day difference...

He has a tune on the website for the 535d, it will work I have talked with him about his tune and what he does, trust me on this as I know none of you personally, Malone tuning for diesels is the best in the world, ask any tdi owner, this guy lives and sleeps diesel tuning...I just don't want to void my warranty, even though I could reflash before taking to dealer you still have to break into the ecu which would be a dead giveaway when they see the re connection tabs...

Great idea, from what I understand, this tune is so powerful and smooth its ridiculous. I spoke to a dealer of his who is a wizard at tuning he is amazed by this car...

Thanks ill give them a call in the morning and see if i can get in before friday.
I see they have a hub dyno. Would be great for getting consistent numbers.

Yozh sorry for the late reply as i was working out of town the last 2 weeks.
I backed out of the malone tune as i was never able to get in contact with him and the dealer didnt know anything about his tunes on BMW's.

Valley eurotec here in Abbotsford offered a remap by Autologic so i think i might give it a try.
