Thanks for all the comments guys. For those that think that they aren't as concave.. I'd wait for more pictures... the pictures now just don't do justice. They are more concave than they look in those pictures, and as we can all see, the accuracy of these wheels are astonishing!
I'll post an update on the OP to the MiRO CSL thread in the vendors section: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=113467 |

Yeah seriously enough with this 50-buck deal, we need more pictures of the product you're trying to sell.
I didn't even understand half of the OP's review, so give him 50 dollars and post a lot of detailed pictures from all the angles. Thanks |

The Velocity wheels do seem to be more concave but it's so hard to tell from the pics. These Miros do like nice though. James we need a side-by-side pic. Since you said both are in stock can't you just grab one of each and take a few shots from various angles for us? Hard to make a decision when we can't see them side by side.

The wheels are in stock, but not in our office. It's at the MiRo warehouse, and we do have the velocity wheels on one of our cars. So we can compare it that way. If the MiRo open house still happens tomorrow, i'll go ahead and make sure to take pictures and do comparison shots! Just sit tight

^+1, your car looked sick! Even though.. it needed a little detail ;P But it's all good! You just need those wheels to be shiny and you got it down buddy.
As for others, i replied an update on my MiRO CSL thread (the very last post I made). If you want, i'll go ahead and copy/paste it here. |

What tires are you using and have they in any way sacrificed performance compared to stock set-up? Thanks, Wig |

They rears don't look like they have any concavity in them, especially judging by updated pictires.
It looks like 4 front CSL wheels slapped on a car. I can't wait til maybe MORR will get back into making some inexpensive cast wheels. VS7 or VS8 as quality cast wheels for 800 bucks shipped. Done, guaranteed sell out I was so hoping, when Carlos and I were discussing in the beginning copying NEEZ QD7, that he would price them for around 2 grand shipped in forged form and then possibly making those in low-pressure cast. I guess that never happened, oh well. |

I think this thread will give you a better idea of what it looks like in person. |

Not that it's a big difference, but I thought the Miro's were supposed to be lighter than VMR?
EAS lists VMR at 25-25.5lbs, and **********s lists the Miros at 24.5-26ish I think? I like the Miros more.. But I like the gunmetal color offered by VMR. But fora silver finish, Miro for sure. |

I had a chance to see both the VMR and Miros side by side the other day. Overall the concavity of the wheels are close. It's just that the VMR begin the "concave curve" earlier than the Miros. Both wheels look fantastic tho! I'm actually getting a set of the Miros tomorrow (hopefully).
I def recommend anyone to look at the wheels in person. Either choice is a win. |
