It doesn't feel like it no.
Although I did have a toe to toe with a Golf R from 30mph to +++ and only just left it....that runs 300bhp and I run 380bhp so maybe it is.... |

The golf R is great at putting power down as it is 4WD. Was it a DSG too? Once you are above 50mph you should be smoking it with your power, but those things will leave you for dust at low speeds.
If you get the JB4 logs you'll be able to see if you are boosting under target often. Generally the N54 forum will point you in the right direction. |

With the logging....do you just commence logging and go out for a 15 minute blast? Does it matter that it will be stop start as you meet traffic etc?
I couldnt find a 'how too' on logging Thanks |

Generally I think 3rd gear pulls from 2000 rpm.
The basic requirement is to put the engine/turbos under load which can only be done when you are foot down. I don't know if it's advised against, but I'd say using hills is probably the best way. You can put more load on the car for a sustained period without driving at a ridiculous speed. Stick some passengers in the car too! +300kg and an incline will put the car under a much larger load than just you driving on the flat, in which case you can quickly run out of road. Don't overload the drivetrain though. If you have a lot of weight/incline, you'll probably be best starting from 3000rpm. |
