e90 vs e92 gas pedal - need help

Hello,

Ok i have e92 335i 2007 AT with jb4.. and today i was driven my mother car e90 335i 2007 AT stock and i feel that e90 pedal is aggressive.. you little press down it and feel power...
So after that i back to my e92 and tried play with my car pedal .. amm what can i say: it is not aggressive - pedal need time to react ... kinda some lag..

So my question is: How can i do aggressive pedal? Or this is something broken on e90? Or on my e92? Or maybe i need gear box reset ?

Thanks!

Maybe your mother has a heavier foot? Reset the adaptation on both cars and it should be equal unless you are running 2 very different DME versions.

U said that the e90 has a more "jerky" pedal whatever that means...i think u mean the throttle response is better..u step on the gas and something happens faster than on ur e92 w piggy..and i am telling u that piggy cars dont retain that same smooth charcter of stock car..

Is this clearer?

ok i see... "jerky" means fast response... no lag..

But when my car was stock there was same response like with jb4... So problem or what ever this is.. is not in piggy...

It feels like e90 have shorter gas cable...

yes i know... it must be in "shorter gas cable"

And about, software upgrade i have newest one... and e90 i think have older... maybe there is some option how i can check software version ?

p.s tibra1 do you have AT or MT? If AT is your pedal fast response?

I understand what you are saying as i am experiencing it myself. It feels like you need to press the pedal quite a bit to get the car going. Like a mushy feeling. It's almost like the transmission is in the wrong gear.

However my experience is not consistent sometimes it is ok and really responsive "jerky" as you describe.

I have full BMW diagnostic software and there are no issues or codes... I've reset the transmission adaptations which seems to correct it for a bit but then it goes back.

I'll try resetting the throttle adaptation and see if it helps me. I'll let you know. I have JB4 as well.

Try running Map 0 and / or try manual mode, see if the issue persists.

I do a lot of city driving and have been having some issues with my auto trans. This could be my problem

Good luck.
