My Trip to Millau

ok, i also own an E92 335D so i think its ok to post. anybody fancy a darn good place to thrash around i cant recomend this area highly enough!

read on:

Well Carrie and I got back the other day from our 10 day road trip to the Millau area of France. It was the first time that i have taken Carrie on one of my adventurs and i think she might have just seen my other side (you know the 20 year old twat in a 49 year old body)LOL.
when asked if she would come again all i could hear was silence! i think she liked it, in fact i know she like it as she said "thanks for taking me to France darling" only a few hours ago.

it was great weather, great location and with great company. as for the roads, probably the best roads i have driven in a long while and that includes scotland (sorry to our scotish contingent). there we so few other cars, it was like a ghost country. best bit of all was the complete lack of Gendams... well except for the DM incident, but if you want to drive like you've been fired from the barrel of a gun, thats what you get... mide you i stumpped up 1/3 of teh fine as it was damn good entertainment!!!

anyway, enough of the words, i'll let the piccies do the talking.

it all starts with a bunch of like minded people (although this is the final day photo)

a nice hotel in the south of France

situated by the shores of the gently running Tarn river

with some other charming views thrown in

some other daft geezers

plenty of filling up the motors

we went there to see this muther of a bridge

then there these two clones of Alfie and Alex....not to realistic, too robot like!

really good scenery.. with some zeds thrown in that is

we founds this much drink when we visited the Champagne region

then some of our group found and ENJOYED SNAILS.... ooh get away from me

Best of all was that we just kicked back and relaxed

i had fun, fun, fun. thanks to all that help me do this!

this also happened as well

What fantastic pics there R4R!!
Looks like you had a great bit of weather to enjoy the Zed.

Is the guy in front of you at the petrol pumps from Co. Fermanagh or did he just buy a N.I. number plate?

Excellent pics and what a fantastic place! That bridge is simply stunning isn't it.

Was there in June this year, but your pics. are better than mine. It was VERY hot and looks like it was when you were there. Those roads are something else aren't they. We were based at Baladou in the Dordogne and drove the 130 miles to see the bridge. The roads near Figeac were TWISTY - great fun. Sure the Z's would have loved them.

Like the pics. with the Gendarmes.

I have got to go see this bridge! I think I'd like to take the old drive one way and the bridge back.

Maybe, but southern France is a long way from the English Channel.
