When to replace suspension '06 325i?

I have 116k miles on my car. I have been well-maintaining all other aspects of the car and it drives great. I don't notice any issues with suspension. My miles are largely "highway miles" if that makes a difference.

Do I need to replace suspension components proactively or just wait until I have a noticeable issue?

What's the minimum I will likely spend if I am going for an OEM quality replacement (no fancy upgrades)?

I would wait until you have a known issue.
