E92 335is. I'm thinking $1000 over is fair. Am I crazy?

Usually $500-1,000 is fair, shoot the specs you want and $500 over invoice and see if you get any biters, if not counter with $1,000.

Do you suggest trying to buy over the internet on any particular sites or face to face at a local dealer?

I guess I should start at $500 over invoice and go up to 1,000.

I've purchased 3 BMWs and have not paid more than $500 over invoice.

Whats your secret? Up here in Massachusetts all the dealers are pretty tough. I have ordered my two BMW's and paid 1k over both times. Help me out Bro.

I'll get you the car for invoice. I am in NY/NJ so you would have to come down to me to pick it up.

Shoot me a PM if you are interested.

$500 over invoice seems about right. When I was shopping for my E92 and my E90, $500 + MACO fee, etc was the number we were working with///

Hey Bruno,
If you're willing to drive up from GA I'll hook you up with my friend. Invoice and NO Maco fee ($500-600 extra). Let me know with a PM Bro, good luck!

Guys I am honored that you would do this for me. I really want to buy from a local dealer and I am trading in my 2006 330 so I dont know if it would be worth the running around. I feel that I shouldnt pay over $500 but I'm sure the local dealers around me in the Boston area will feel differently. Again thanks for the offers and I'll see how I do around here maybe this weekend. Any words of advise will be welcome.

I'm seeing folks get 2011 e92 for invoice minus 200. No MACO or any dealer fees. In addition their SA is offering the automatic transmission program credit of 1300 or xdrive program credit of 1800.

How is the dealer making any money?

More power to anyone who can get that, cause I haven't been able to get new BMW cars (not outgoing model year) at invoice w/o any other bogus fees. I'll be way under invoice for my 2011 335XI coupeBUT with help from X-drive credit and BMW-CCA rebate (I may even able to use cash back from my Citi drive advantage card).

Buying car is always interesting, one time a co-worker boasted that he gets a BMW for invoice w/o any other fees, next I asked, "did you have a trade in", and he said "Yes". No more comment from me...

But always..... bargain hard, right now car market is very soft.
