The skene design may cost more but.
1) won't rust like this plate mount will
2) mounts the plate a touch higher than the stock holder = more direct airflow

In case you guys missed my link here are the pics

it's supposed to be universal. So it should, I don't see why not.
I'm using and prefer the skene design as seen above couple posts up.

All really good options so I figure I'd throw in my ghetto one. I bought suction cups from Menards that happen to perfectly fit the plate. I just suction the plate to the bumper anytime I'm parked (we get tickets in Chitown for no front plates when sitting still). Never have driven on the highway with this solution but it definitely works driving around the city but I rarely do that since it's a easy pop off.

someone said that you can pop the center grill without taking the bumper off, but you gotta be very careful not to snap the tabs

I took the lazy-man's method: I just used the (2) included bolts and drilled under the bumper cowl, and it fits fine. For $10, it can't be bit (a fixit ticket in SD is $10, and thats IF you correct and get proof of correction signed off). preventative investment of time and $, and you're no longer rollin' dirty(at least as far as lic plates go)

I already had my bumper off to paint the mess, so this is what I did. I put a furniture felt piece on top of the LP, and then 2 of them right above the arms that could potentially touch the bumper (trimmed to fit), and that's it.

It's for Bimmerfest, and is coming right off after, but it's a great interim solution.

Having seen both an E90 and E92 with their bumpers off and taking the grills off on both cars, I'd strongly recommend against it.

The plastic is pretty strong. I tightened the bolts up pretty good without a problem.
