WOT video with external mic this time

Last thread of GoPro stuff until I get something really fun to post. Picked up a nice stereo mini microphone and 12.5 ft extension for the GoPro along with the skeleton case. Ran the cable into the trunk and taped the camera here:

The result, tried to edit out the non interesting stuff this time:

this is much more realistic to what I hear when driving, its pretty tame under part throttle and cruising then rips at WOT.

I will be adding a second mic to the interior if I can, not sure if the GoPro will allow a dual external mic setup but I dont see why not.

haha that's awesome, I just did the same thing with my 8 yr old nephew a few days ago (granted my car is not as fast as yours), but still funny!

Sounds great ! definitely cut down on the wind noise. It's not just the 1st gear you need to shift out of faster, even the second too

! This M3 is a fast one ! I still haven't seen this car in person. Glad you took Pete Schweaty's advice by starting the video outside of your neighborhood !

Sounds great! The one thing I wish my car had was an MT! Even with paddles, it is not the same as getting the feel of the clutch.

yes this is true, it doesnt stop pulling so on most roads i'm watching the road, not the tach, often slam the limiter. Easier to judge in 3rd and up but I won't do that with her in the car.
