BrenTuning Tuning Day 3/16/13

BRENTUNING TUNING DAY N54/N55

OFFICAL:There will be a tuning day March 16th. Tuning will start around 9am. Bren will give a rate discount on tuning (only) if we have 5+ cars being tuned. This should be a great time to meet other members and see what certain mods can do to our n54/n55. If you have any questions feel free to pm me or email BrenTuning ( Sales@BrenTuning.com ). I will be receiving a rate sheet from Bren soon. If you are getting tuned a deposit will need to be made to BrenTuning so we can keep a schedule. I hope to meet many of you there and hopefully we see some sweet cars.

Location: PSI (4 Elm Street, Auburn, MA 01501). Dyno is located in the back of the building.

Rates: (This is for tuning and dyno. Tunes include 93 pump/your mods and E30-E85 map)
RWD Discounted rates (5+ cars): $400.00
AWD Discounted rates (5+ cars): $450.00

If you would like a package deal with a new COBB AP please email Sales@BrenTuning.com .

If you are 100% in for a tune please let me know you are 100% in. Also BrenTuning will need a $100 deposit to hold your spot (unless you are in contact with BrenTuning and they let me know otherwise). Please let me know if you have questions on this. Also please let me know if you made a deposit.

Sounds good. The more cars the better. 5+ car will get us a discounted rate.

Bren's got a Legacy GT dyno day the last weekend of March. So im thinking March 23rd or April 6th.

I am actually thinking of keeping the car past 150,000. With that being said, would a tune be a wise idea?

stage 1 tune is very safe. It's nice with a cobb tuner also because you can switch your map back to stock whenever you want. Also it comes down to how you drive the car and if you keep up on your service intervals. I know of cars with 90k+ with stage 2+ tunes with zero issues.

Correct me if I am wrong, but any tune would increase the amount of boost I use and therefore decease the lifespan of the twin turbos?

Id say incorrect. If you are regulating boost properly it shouldnt be an issue. My last car was a lgt with 13psi stock. It current owner has it at 19psi with 115k miles on the turbo. Its when you have a bad boost controller or wastegate that issues occur
