Question NJ/NYC area Aero-lip & HID Fog Light Install

Does anyone know a reputable place that can install my pre-painted front Aero Lip & HID Fogs in the northern NJ/NYC area? Preferably a place that has experience installing the HID fogs w/ the relay switch to prevent '08 e92's from throwing a code?

Nice, thanks bro. My car is being delivered at the end of May and i'm picking it up first week in June. I didn't think i'd get such a quick response. I guess i started the thread a little early LOL.

I have the lip and HID's at home already so all i need is the car Where are you in NJ? I'm in Morris county and i work in Parsippany. If you don't mind, PM me your email or cell and i can give you my info too.

Have you ever installed either one of these before? (particularly the HID's)

Yeah, i got them from xenondepot, they're the xtreme 6000k's. The ballasts are thinner than the one's i have in by accord coupe (that's the only thing i can compare it to)

I've read LOADS of threads about his HID's and they seem to install great. I'm worried about the heat that those relay switches give off. I want to make sure they're mounted solidly.

I'm not using relay switches, so I can't answer the heat question... No error code though! Good luck with the install.

Yeah but it sticks out due to the thickness of the tape. I'd like to make it look as streamlined as possible.

I can't seem to find a straight forward answer as to what build month doesn't throw codes. I've heard that some 2006 e90&e92 as well as some 2007 e92's don't. The guy from XenonDepot said that if i just installed them on an April 2008 e92, without the relay's, it would throw a code.

i installed mine and they through a code, once u turn them on the code goes away.
my guess is that due to the ballast power, the bulb does not get any power unless turned on, thats why car's ecu thinks its not functional

You have to add those gold things to that part of the wire on both sides. It gets hot when in use so you have to install it away from anything that's heat sensitive.

I know but i don't have much experience installing electronics and i've never used the type of adhesive that came with the lip on anything before. I'd just be more comfortable having someone with experience doing it.

On which wire does this gold cylinder go on? and blue circled objects are clips or wire cutouts?

The clips are circled but the wires that they're connected to are the only black & white wires on the whole setup. You have to connect one end of the gold cylinder to the black wire & the other end of the gold cylinder to white wire. You don't even need to use the clips, it's a simple splice job.
