APR Performance GT250. If you are going massive power then do their reverse DTM wing like the Yost 25 hour car. They can also do front splitter etc. Talk to Tony and tell him I sent ya.

Been sanding a lot last week, and it feels like its a stand still in the workshop.

Have test fitted the lip and the splitter, looks good.

i guess i have some couple days left off sanding, then its on to make the seat mounts and the gearlleaver and pedals.


Getting there.


Brake parts are starting to arrive from japan


Ohh carbon.. i do have the carbon fever...

car looks an amazing piece of kit but would it not have been better to just buy an m3 and build it from that rather than turn a normal 3 series into an m3?

Not sure what the cost of an m3 is in the states, but here they cost closer to 50.000usd

then putting 3way shocks on it and doing the mods would be way more.

if it would be cheaper.. please believe i would have done that.

same thinking -> people that modified bmw e30 325 would have been better off buying the e30 m3 at once instead, but they dont..

we can call the front and rear subframes "CUSTOM" instead of m3 and the engine its just old plain V8 (not an m3 v8) better?
