Petrol Flap - Replacement Rubber Grommet?

The rubber grommet which seals around the locking pin has perished and no longer sits flush to the lock mechanism. It's annoying as when it comes loose, my petrol flap doesn't open with a push, and I need to pry it open with a card.

Does anyone have a part number or link to an online source?

From your description I believe it's this part number that your after:

51178228939 - Buffer stop with ejector.
Or
51257075026 - Rubber Grommet

Have a look here to double check (I tried to type your rough details in e92 2007 etc)

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...76&hg=41&fg=25

Hopefully that helps you!
