June Deliveries? Lets get the party started!

Alright, well I can't wait any longer so I guess it's time to get the June thread going. Who else is a June delivery?

My car is in production right now and is scheduled to be finished on the 29th, so I expect a very early June delivery.

mine's going into production today, so I'm trying to figure out exactly when in june it'll be delivered - this wait is gonna drive me nuts!

I think i got almost the same options as you, haha...e92, jet black, gray poplar, sport with shifters, black 'ette, CA, Heated seats, ipod and 230 wheels...

Got my production number an hour ago! Waiting to find out which production week I'm in!

. . . . . the wait will only get worse for my first BMW :-(

You and I will probably end up really close, perhaps even the same boat then. Mine went into production Monday, so we should be rolling out to the docks around the first of the month.

how did you guys find out the delivery date and production date? I ordered almost two weeks ago and FINALLY today it said in the owner's circle website that it's scheduled for production.

So how did you guys find out the exact date it went into production? And how will I find out when mine will be delivered and what boat it'll be on and so forth?

Call the 800 number (1-800-831-1117). Not only are they faster to udpate, but they will give you more detail such as your scheduled production completion date.

Call, press 2 for vehicle production, enter your production number, press one for production number, and it'll tell you what it knows!

"Your vehicle is in production with a scheduled completion date of April 29th."

I knew because I called my CA yesterday to change my wheel selection (i thought i'd go aftermarket but i changed my mind) and he said he just got it in because my car was scheduled to go into production at the end of yesterday. I called the 800 number and it said the same thing....the OC still has my car as on order.

this is going to be a long wait...hopefully it'l be here by 2nd week of June, otherwise I'm going to go crazy. I thought tracking a UPS package was bad...this is a million times worse.

I'm week 20 production...so i'm expecting end of June delivery.

I'll be without my car starting May 28th...so June is going to be a bad month for me.

Well, I called in and I'm in final assembly now, the lady I spoke to seemed to think that if everything worked out perfect it could be here by the week of the 18th... of May! That would mean hitting a boat by the end of the week and flying through the VPC and all without any problems, which seems a bit optimistic to me, but maybe I'm actually a May delivery. I'm going to stick with June so I can be pleasantly surprised rather than disappointed.

you lucky bastard, haha. My car went into production a week after you placed your order and I'm thinking it won't be here till 2nd week of june, if that.

If you get your car that early and you ordered a week before me, thats crazy! good, but crazy!

If you're on the boat already, and you're in NY especially, you will definitely get your car in May, not June. It only takes about 2 weeks for the boat to get over here, then even if you gave it an entire week to get through the VPC and to your dealer, you're still in the third week of May.

Haha, all depends on what your dealer had lined up for production. My car went into production 4 or 5 days after I ordered it.

Still, even if the car made it out by the end of this week, I don't see the week of the 18th happening. Maybe the week of the 25th, but not the 18th.

Either way, I'm still telling myself June like I said so I'm happy if it's less.

I finally got a build date of the 20th week (the 2nd week in May I believe) which should put it here in late June. They also confirmed they have the correct car on order (despite the Owner's circle listing a 128 Convertible this morning and now listing a different interior).

Just signed the paperwork today... so presumably I'm a late-June delivery. I sure hope so, I won't be able to wait much longer than that before I explode from excitement.

So... what's next? How long does it generally take to get a production number and production week, so I can start following the car minute-by-minute? I'm dying to know if PDC is feasible on the dates that I want, too!

Wow. I can't believe that in a couple months, I'll have the car. Just thinking about it puts a big smile on my face.
