Think about what you just posted. We are waiting for official prices not what GREG thinks. |

Straz, I don't care how you do or don't option the car either. Why is everyon so hung up on 'base price'. Why does base price matter? Does anyone here NOT get the sport and/or premium packages? That makes no sense to me but then again, thats why they have chocolate and vanilla. Call bullshit all you want. It matters not. I'd never own a 'base price' car. Never have, never will. Period. I don't care if the base was 37 or 38 or whatever. Market trends put the pricing where it is.

understand, but base price is essential to know because we have a good feeling on what the option prices will be; it is the base that remains the mystery...

Its not like I ordered a base car but the base price is the knowledge we all want. We dont want it configured with sport and premium from the getgo. All put aside I ordered my car with Premium, Sport, Comfort Access, Nav, PDC, Heated Seats, 6 speed...

So once again, WHY does base price mean a damn thing? I gave you the price based upon the options explained to me. Then I got dogpiled. This car isn't going to be cheap and it most certainly will be mid 40s once you put 'some' options on it. So why does everyone want to thump their chest about 40/40.3/41.2k etc base pricing? To be 'right'? Wow.

I said it would be $50,000 on the street a loooong time ago.
Too much money for me. I'm glad I got the 330xi ($43,660 on the street).
