yes i've actually been working on getting the technique down with a friend of mine before offering a plastidipping service since most people don't know how to spray it properly. it's a problem with nozzle size, air/volume ratio, and thinner dilution.

I know exactly what you mean by the fuzzy "suede" feeling and look, but I can assure you plastidip is NOT supposed to look like that. it should feel like dragging your hand across a smooth flat piece of rubber (slightly grabby, but still smooth) and texture should only be visible from a few inches away. the texture is in the form of very small orange peel. much smaller than you'd see on clearcoat. there should be no "fuzz" at all.

I hope to one day perfect this technique. I do however believe I did a pretty good job. Yes of course there are some small spots around the car that need touch up, that's what the cans are for, but overall, its even all around the car and I love it. The biggest thing I would tell anyone who attempts this, or plastidipping anything for that matter, is the more you spray on, the easier it is to remove. Keep that in mind. The texture is weird, kind of like a small orange peel as you said and it feels like it drags my hand as I rub it across. Goodluck on mastering this!

I knew I would find some people that didn't like it. I do agree with you about the lower grilles. I am going to be doing my window trim, roof, and lower grilles black. Thanks
