Feeler: WAVETRAC LSD - Complete Final Drive
EDIT: Price lowered $400 dollars for the diff+your 6at diff.
Thinking of trying out different gearing on my rear end and I'm posting up my complete final drive with the 3.08 (6MT) Wavetrac LSD unit bolted in it. This unit was professionally installed into the car and has never had a single issue and is literally flawless. I'm just a type that likes to change things up every once in a while and would like to try a 3.46 final drive in my car going forward. I'm sure I'll be wanting to drop down to a 2.56 final drive from the DCT cars and try that as well eventually but I'd like to try the 3.46 first which comes in the 6AT. Anyone out there with an automatic tranny interested in an LSD for their rear end let me know and I can even arrange for a swap at one of the best 335 shops in the GTA for the complete final drive swap... Basically, final drive comes off my car, goes onto your car, done. No need to adjust anything, fast and simple. I'm not interested in separating my final drive and the Wavetrac unit so please don't PM me about that. If anyone wants to just buy the complete final drive with the Wavetrac unit the price is $2500. New, the Wavetrac LSD unit itself once I received it was $1300, installing it into my existing final drive was another $1100. Final drive core from this car goes for another ~900-1000. So to get a complete final drive WITH the Wavetrac LSD which you can just swap into your car today (and possibly sell later) would cost you about ~$3.5-4k plus the hassle of being without a car for a while. This is especially the case if your rear end is WELDED and requires special machining and cutting to get the LSD into your final drive. Here's the catch, if anyone with an automatic tranny is interested in an LSD and wants to buy my unit, I am willing to let the complete final drive go for $1300 (FIRM) + your used stock final drive from your automatic, or the above $2500 price and you get to keep your final drive. Let me know. This is a truly great option, especially for those with a welded rear end, to get an LSD into their car without incurring 3.5-4k in costs to turn it around! I won't go into details on how much an LSD on this car improves traction, tons of posts on that topic if you wish to research. LSD is the best modification (and I've said this many times before) on this car bar none. If not local to me (Toronto, Canada) shipping will be calculated based on where I need to ship it... Great deal, someone should get on this quick, LSD is the best thing for your car, before power!!!!! all the power upgrades are useless without an LSD. seriously.
