E90 328i xDrive 2JZ swap

Hey guys. I have seen that you can get adapter plates for 2jz engines and 328i gearboxes. Wanted to see if someone has ever done a swap like for an xdrive car.

Probably much more doable for a RWD car, since the X-drive cars are pretty tight on space and by design the front axle shafts go through the engine's oil pan in order to fit.

I can't see doing it in an XI, the oil pan and the half shaft occupy the same space, and the rack is right there too.

seems doable in a RWD car, but why? A 335 with an N54 is everything a 328 with a 2j would be, with a better transmission, stouter rear end and bigger brakes.
bear in mind that input torque rating on the 6l45 is 330lb ft.
single turbo a n54, make 600 rwhp.
