Has Shiv Encountered A Problem With V2.0?

He's been uncharacteristically quiet lately.

Perhaps Shiv is busy enjoying the extra power V2 provides.

Cheers.

Well he's got people on his back asking redundant questions, ignoring his posts, complaining for no reason, and unwilling to allow some slack. It's like a nursery school.

Actually, we just picked up a new project car a few days ago (lamborghini gallardo ) so we've been a little preoccupied with baseline testing. As for v2, is essentially done. Just waiting on some components for the v2 update harness because we are well aware of the problems that will rise if we don't have enough to go around. And even still, there is no way that we'll be able to ship everyone's update kit out at once.

i think Shivs just busy with the harnesses. I can see hes making an effort to ensure better QC for the harness this time. For some of us that had bad harnesses, it sure was a tough time. I am sure he is taking that into account as well not to mention the huge demand the V2 is going to generate. Thats probably why hes busy. dont forget hes got a video to do as well for V2. Alot of nitty gritty stuff we may forget being customers but as tuners, its of paramount importance as far as support and troubleshooting is concerned.

We certainly can't prevent anyone from trying to build their own harness. It's not exceptionally difficult if one is competent with soldering. But for the sake of our sanity, we can't provide tech support for people who chose to build their own harness since we can't be sure that they build it correctly.

i meant if youll just ship us the wires and pins, having to find the pins would make it too much of a PITA

He must have better things to do than take photos of an expensive Audi and post them up on BMW forum.
