KW V3, camber plates, track and handling mods
i currently have KW V3 and am lowered about 2".
i have -.08 camber up front. how much camber is recommended for track vs road or for both. my tires are prematurely wearing to the out part of tire. are the camber plates a good investment if I plan to do 6-8 track sessions per year. vorshlag has them for $339. are there any other parts recommended for my level to enhance handling. I know I probabley should raise car also. any cost effective and relative ease of install components |

Sway bars will help alot for handling. Try h&r sways. And lastly you can change your bushings to M3 ones, and your car will be superb! Best of luck.

-0.08 degrees?
That's hardly anything. I'd run at least -2.0 if you track your car often. Maybe dial it back to -1.5 or -1.7 if you are really worried about tire wear on the street. but if you zero out your toe, you should be okay on the wear issue. And if you are take the car to the track, you will still wear out the outsides of your front tires with -2.0 degrees of camber. |
