or u can just fasten the seatbelt and then sit in the car. you will be sitting on the seatbelt. buying a seatblet connector is another solution as previously mentioned.
Even if u are driving for 200 yards always put it on, you never know what can happen. there are lots of drunk people on the road! better be safe than.. dead!

I would rather not have that stupid bong noise and it would fix all my problems.

That means you do not wear your seatbelt. You're a total idiot and should have no place on Bimmerpost. Try an Emergency stop next time your driving "down the street" - you will go through the bloody windscreen. Que the child chasing the ball across the road
- at least one of you will be seriously hurt.

Take it easy hero. I already got my answers on how to get rid of the noise. I didn't ask for superhero opinions.

Does your motorcycle have a seat belt?

I didn't give you my "superhero" opinion, I gave you a very simple yet very effective law. We'll see who is laughing when there is a head sized crater in your windscreen.

Well why didn't you say so?

Instead of swearing and calling me an idiot just because i refuse to wear a seat belt in the parking lot. Also it drives me crazy when i take it off as i pull up in my drive way and than it goes of after 10sec. Obviously i wear it everywhere else i drive.

You just need to learn how to take it easy and watch how you voice your opinion to others. No need to get mad or frustrated.

It was a taxi driver that fell asleep on the highway. It was on "The Indestructibles" last week. All real.

Also as others have said yes we can code the noise off and the little red reminder stays on the dash. Best of both worlds.

Also for all of the people preaching I understand but when I'm at the track and need to inch the car forward or quickly move it when I'm working on it it's annoying. I always wear it while driving though. Too much to lose.

yes yes posting on a super old thread, but the information is still relevant and this is a record of evolving history.

the e92 has a serious flaw in this regard when you have comfort access. When you start the car without the key in, the seat belt dong happens immediately. But only one thing, the seat belt butler hasn't handed me my seat be in the first place yet.

The logics ass backwards. So thats why I want to code it out.

the resurrection is real.

anyway, all the other posters in this thread jumped on the bandwagon of "WEAR UR SEATBELT OMG!!1!1." For the record, I do wear my seatbelt, but I also think the chime is the most horrendously annoying feature whenever I have groceries/backpack/girlfriend's purse in the passenger seat. how hard is it to code this out?

Hardest part will be setting up BMW standard tools correctly, it took me a while. Once you get all that functioning it is pretty easy to code, this was one of the first things I coded and it's awesome. Hate the seatbelt chime, it's especially offensive in these cars.

Dont tell others what to do and how to run their life. Take care of yours and keep your 2 cents. No offense, but this stuff bothers me... I actually had a friend live because he flew out of his sun roof without a seat belt on. His car was a ball of metal crushed by a huge semi.
