I bought the TopSpeed system when it came out... horrible quality, horrible sound, just all around crappy product. People will say it sounds great, but to me it sounded like a riced out shitbox.
The 'stainless' part of it doesn't isn't 100%. It did have slight magnetic pull, and it did show plenty of signs of corrosion if one doesn't clean it regularly. |

That's just the starting bid. The exhaust itself is actually $500 plus shipping. I purchased one recently from a member on this forum. From my understanding, and my mechanic who installed the exhaust, it was loud. The fitment was, i would say, 95%. For me, personally, I would never spend anything more than $500-600 for a set of exhaust. IMO, its just ridiculous for companies to charge a premium(1k plus) on a set of pipes. If you are looking for an exhaust that does its job, then Top Speed is it.

You guys are too funny. Try looking and examining at a 'quality' exhaust and a crappy exhaust in person. You'll see the difference. Yes...they will give fairly equal power..but one will sound and look like crap, one will not. Design and quality of the the exhaust/mufflers, believe it or not, IS important.
Cool, you had a TopSpeed system on your Nissan. That's awesome bro. So you're telling me that my magnets actually weren't pulling towards the exhaust? You also saw my system after a rainstorm and can confirm that it wasn't corroding? I want to know what window you were peering into, you must be a good hider. Go ahead and buy ebay exhaust, even straight pipe. You'll fit in with the guys that have straight pipe civics and camaros that every person gawks at because you car is obnoxiously loud. |

I'm actually laughing out loud. When it comes to car parts, China = bad quality. Case and point: Topspeed vs. AR, AMS, AE, AA, and a slew of others I can't think of. |

Yup. We are talking about car parts. Not electronics. And I don't need to knock on the Chinese stuff - their quality speaks for itself.

I don't understand how stating that many car parts that come from China are low quality makes me a narrow minded idealist? It has been proven time and time again. If you can make a factual argument against the above, then feel free. But name calling doesn't really prove anything.

It's definitely cheap for a full exhaust. Looks to be decent quality. Try it out and see if you like it.
It's refreshing to see products like this which don't have the "BMW tax" for a change. |

I think your products are top notched!!! I understand costs are what not but in the end it's pipes..downpipes are very tricky and require a lot of rd to get right and then the amount of welding is substantial...hell a defector of yours thought it was easy to do and he had crazy fit problems...exhaust for this vehicle are just not worth those costs...just lose some weight and you will get the same benefit |
