Hello. Looks like an old thread, but it's the only one on DRLs that are not AEs.

2008 335i Pre LCI with Xenons. I just changed my AE bulb with MTEC V3s, but the DRLs kicked my but.

In #7 of the instructions, do you just pull the tab? Is this different than the connector to the bulb?

Did a little more searching and here is the trick.

Note the poster says to "push up" on the black tab.

I'll try it when I have more time. Looks like it may still be a B***H. If this trick doesn't work, I'm going to just stop.
