Question New aFe Stage 2 installed pics and 1 question

So I just put my aFe intake in and here's the results!

Only question I have is that I tightened down the clamp around the front tube and it didn't seal properly. The aFe tube seemed a bit smaller than factory box? Anyway, I tightened the clamp until I got a seal and got the result below. Will this cause me problems? What can I do to correct it? Thanks!

What a shame, a ridiculously expensive intake that does not fit properly.

Hey dan, glad to see that you got your intake on. And for the problem with the clamp, did you push the piping as far as it could go into the turbo inlet? It seems like that would cause a problem.

I would say that pipe is not pushed all the way into the receiving pipe.

PM'd you...checked my connections and there was a little "wrinkle" as in your picture, but that was just the rubber seal and everything was tight.

I checked the fitting, pushed the aFe pipe further into the receiving pipe and re-tightened the clamp. Seal is much better and the "wrinkle" is only negligible. Thanks all!

did you notice any actual difference? someone was asking me about my DCI and i was like umm...it "feels" faster but the car was already fast, so it's pretty hard to identify any gains anymore unless it's drastic

Not yet....not really anyway. I've read that it takes about 100 miles of driving for the car to "adjust" to the new air flow. But running map 5 the extra 6-10HP I'm getting from the intake is hard to "feel". It sounds f*in badass though!
