Walnut Blasting(Intake Cleaning)-S. Florida

I just wanted to post some pics of the latest car I cleaned. Pics are a little blurry- camera sucks! The car was a 335i convertible w/ 80,900 miles- running JB4 and E85. If you are interested in having this done-PM me. It's a great deal!

What's the deal. You can say the price here, no need to PM.

In my first thread I had said the price was $325 for the first five people and $400 thereafter. You interested?

Oh, I haven't seen your other thread. I will be in the future, right now I don't have that many miles.

I might be interested as my 07 335i is at 48k miles, so my intakes valves prob need cleaning. Do you have the 1st five people at $325 yet? About how long does this cleaning take?

Yes, I have done 7 cars at this point. Process usually takes about 3.5-4 hrs. Is your car tuned?

Are there any obvious symptoms to dirty valves? I'm at 45k miles on my 07 335 w/ cobb ap and I feel like my car has vtech sometimes with the acceleration being inconsistent and having random hesitation. No codes being read by my cobb.

what does this do for your car? I have heard about this, but have no idea what it does. I assume this is for older cars? Mine is 2 months old. Maybe someone can explain it. I have searched lol

When the intake valves get clogged it created turbulence for the intake air.

The pics the OP posted are from my car. Wow, it really idles and accelerates like new again...silky smooooth. I'd recommend this to anyone with some miles on their bimmer. The OP did a great job, was super accommodating, and half as much as the stealership.

Nothing you need to worry with a new car. Wait until 40-50K miles. Less if you get a tune and some mods.

To a small degree but probably and not as much as you. I thought all was running pretty solid until I got this done. I'd compare it to when you get a new loaner from the dealership and realize the difference between how it runs so much smoother compared to your older bimmer.

I have heard of this cleaning resolving some more serious idle/acceleration issues.

Nice. Glad you're helping out other forum members with this intake valve cleaning. My car isn't tuned. I'm stock at 48k miles. Putting in new plugs & coil packs next week. Plan on installing AR DPs, Forge intercooler, Stett CP w/Forge DVs, and Cobb tune soon. I'll let you know soon when I can come down to you.

So, far I have not had to change any. If you want them changed- I can change them. I have a few sets of gaskets and extra screws for anyone missing them under the hood.
