CCC iDrive Software Updates?

Hi,

I have a 2006 E90 auto with pro-nav and wondered if there are any useful iDrive software updates that I should consider?

I've heard that there may be an update which improves the auto gear changes, is this true? And does it have to be done by a BMW dealer - can an indy specialist do it?

Can't comment on CCC software update.

However your local BMW specialist / Indy should be able to update the gearbox module if it was never done.
