Green Bay area walnut blast?
Anyone in the Green Bay area / Fox Valley / Milwaukee have the equipment to do an intake blast? I'm a DIY guy, just don't have the equipment. Will pay to borrow it. Could probably use a little help though... N55 engine.

I wouldn't bother. My buddy has over 40k miles on his 2011 335. He checked his intake valves a few weeks ago and they where perfectly clean. I think this issue is only with the N54s.

Really? I thought it was an issue with both N54 and N55. Why wouldn't the N55 have this problem, isn't the intake manifold pretty much the same?

I have personally seen it on both n54 and n55. Although you probably will have a hard time finding someone with a tool in your area let alone someone that will just let you borrow iy. I got my blast done right over the boarder of IL. Pm me if you want their contact onfo. It was under $400 bucks too.

I'm not completely positive but doesn't Concours or any other BMW dealer have the equipment for this? I know they make a kit specifically for walnut blasting and the dealers have this as far as I know. If you aren't into dealer service, you can check with Kummrow Automotive as they are a BMW specialist shop right down the road from Concours in Glendale. Hope this helps.
