***JB4 map2: Only DCI and Muffler delete***
I've been running jb4 map 2 for a about 10 months now and up to about 2-3 months ago when I go WOT getting onto the freeway for example.. I get the half engine light that pops up. Nothing happens but when I give some gas the car shakes. If I don't touch the gas for a couple of seconds the light leaves. Does anyone know what is up? I've tried map 5 and same thing happens. It isn't a constant thing. For 1 month it'll do it then the next month it won't. Any help?

do you have auto clear on or off. have you checked for a code with the cable?
cant say without more info.. If you cant/dont log, change your plugs its probably just a missfire

+1 on this. With your mods you should be running map 5 or map 1

you have a bad coil pack. i have the same mod and the same thing happened to me a few months ago. my number 6 coil went bad. after reading the codes i swapped 6 and 1 and went out and tested it and the misfire code went to number 1. Replaced the coil and all has been well ever since

Like i said before. Definately change the plugs at a minimum... dealer may do that as they are scheduled for 45K But when youre tuned you should do them every 20K or more often. The dealer may not cover it and could charge 600 bucks. If thats the case, find a local guy thru the forum and buy the plugs and have a bud do them if youre not comfortable. If that doesnt cure it, which im confident it will, move on to coil packs.. The plugs need to be changed period. Try to get the cable and pull codes, that will make it easier to diagnose if its the packs. Hope this helps
Edit just saw your at Kms not miles lol... either way plugs are simple and will give you peace of mind.. By 30K miles my were smoked lol ill be doing them every 10K miles

Remember to always get the engine up to temperature. This will cause misfires as well, or so ive experienced.
