Well actually I had to go through a US citizen to purchase my car and they are technically still the owner for another couple of weeks. Maybe I can ....

This doesnt make sense to me.. So all I have to do is sign up for a year of the BMWCCA for $40... and I can get a $500 rebate on my car? I havent taken delivery yet. Expecting it Tues-Thurs..

Can someone go over the process start to finish so I understand??

You have to be a member for 1 year before you can apply for the rebate. It's all explained here...

Get a membership that lasts more than 1 year without the membership ever lapsing. This means: get membership, renew before one-year period expires, purchase car by normal means after one-year membership period while still being a member in good standing, within certain time frame fill out rebate request, and then wait for rebate from $500 to $1000.
