are these in german or english? I ask because the 48.1 files were all german in INPA

I'm seeding. I don't go I and replace the cfgdat files in INPA because they are German and as long as you have the Sgdat and other folders up to date it should work. Always has for me.

Wrong...The ediabas ECU files if changed over will read errors in German..

I know the errors will I was talking about the general functions. If something comes up German I just translate it.

Hard to say. What's the difference in your windows OS today compared to Last Tuesday when it took updates? But, if the dealer updates your car for some routine purpose, Your custom coding will go away and you may need this version to re-code your cool features.

hi there i have download the v49..
i unzip the file and there was some subs
cfgdat
data
daten
ecu
format
kmmdata
sgdat

where do i put this suds......exacly,because that kind of subs are every where
in ....ediabas\
in .....EC-APPS\inpa\
but also in C:\EC-APPS\NFS

so where exacly i tranfer this subs...
does this daten incudes updates for ecu through winkfp for a bmw e90 2006

i have installed inpa v5.0.6 english, ediabas v7.3.0 and ncs expert 3.01 (coapi v3.5.1b).it works like charm and i don,t want to mess it up!!!!

i allready code the bc_digital module and works fine
thanks to all for the infos provided

if anyone can help for above requests much appreciated..

First question is: what are you trying to update?

If you want to programm your car you should import:

PABD - SGDAT folder
P-SGBD - ECU folder
Assembly line data - DATA folder

then copy GDATEN folder from SP-daten\DATA\ to EC-APP\NFS\DATA and replace all existing files.


With new daten you can also update NCS Exper:

To update the daten files, copy the files from SP-daten-E##\daten to the C:\NCSEXPER\E##\DATEN (where E## is whatever chassis you're updating). You will also want to copy the files from SP-daten-E##\SGDAT to C:\NCSEXPER\SGDAT (they're not separated into different chassis in NCS Expert, so you just want to copy and paste everything to that directory. Overwrite everything it asks about). The last step to fully updating the install is copying the files from SP-daten-E##\ECU to C:\EDIABAS\ECU
