I know it's 'your car' etc etc. But I find it very tasteless when cars are modified to replicate something else. Fenders alone, sure. Skirts? Sure. Hood, sure. But all in one? Just seems like you're trying to be a copy cat.
Sorry to shit on your parade though. |

even better that he does this to a 328, i didnt even check haha but looks like you havent been here that long... your opinion has been voiced over and over and over again by so many others... you dont have to go calling people tasteless... Don't like it? Log off....especially the first post on the tread going straight to bashing. the dude likes the way it looks and rather than doing a terrible looking carbon fiber hood (cough cough) he went with an m3 style one... same can be said for the rest of the parts.... amoungt all the aftermarket options out there he liked the parts that just happened to be m3 style.... until he starts putting m3 badges on there car there is no foul....thats when ppl cross the line haha

well people about to hate, but once he lets me know where he got these from...I'm getting the hood, and fenders...with my side skirts and rear bumper...I will def look like an M3 hahaha
But seriously few questions: 1) where did you purchase 2) how is the fitment 3) did you have to get the M3 reservoir for the fender 4) when you finishing hahah

Both are distinctly unique to the M3. Both signify that the car they are attached to is an M3, but for some reason, the side skirts are ok and fenders aren't? This logic confuses me. I feel like if you're gonna bash a guy for getting M3 fenders, then you need to bash on everyone else that has M3 side skirts, hoods, bumpers etc...

What i find tasteless is to be the first post on a thread talking smack about someones work, some people dont care or cant afford an m3 but they still like the look so why cant they just shoot for the look alone?...but im sure you find the m3 look tasteless too smh

I don't get why everybody is getting so sensitive. It's my opinion. Just like my opinion of CF hoods looking good. Many will bash that, which is fine. Like the OP, I shrug it off. But, if you really want to explain my 'logic', it's simple. I just don't personally like it when cars are modified to mimic others. Sure, the M3 is beautiful and has a great design. I just happen to think doing an entire front end conversion (or what it appears to be) is just too much. Am I going to stop him from modifying a car he purchased? No. But I don't see why a simple comment calls for so much attention. |

Are you not trying to mimic a race car by purchasing a carbon hood? I mean, does the weight difference really have a significant impact on your daily drive? Is it even relevant?
