tire set up help need on new advan wheels
Hey guys,
I thought i get get some help from local forum guys who can lead me to the right direction. I am having hard time choosing brand of tire and size also to go for my 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 I want to go with front: 235-35-19 rear: 275 or 265-30-19 ( which one would you think will work the best especially with kw v2 and with no fender rolls? Also what brand of tires do you guys think its good out there best for its price also.. Thank you |

Michelin PS2's are pretty much the way to go. Unless you want a summer only tire, go with NT05's They are sick!

Or Yokohama Advan Neova AD08, I just bought some and they're stiiiiicky. They won't have the durability of the Nittos though.

For the price, I have heard good things about the new Hankook V12s. Also, Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Specs are supposed to be great too. PS2's are awesome, but they wear out pretty quick (though my Falken FK452's didn't last very long either).
edit: with a 235 width front, don't go with a 275 width rear, otherwise the stagger gets too much and you will just induce more understeer. I would suggest going only with 275 if you run 245 front. (to keep basically the same stagger as stock). I have stock sport suspension, and never have any problems with my 245/35R19 Front, 275/30R19 Rears, but the 275 could become an issue if you are lowered...also depends on the tire, some are more square on the sidewall, some are more rounded. |

read above? yes I do, with 245 fronts. But I also have 10" wide rear wheels, and the 265s would have been too stretched for my taste on them.

I don't know if you will have to roll the fenders...whats the offset on the rear wheels?
It will probably be tight. |
