BMW seems to have soft glass and most likey not cleanable or fixable. I bought my car CPO and it came more or less the same way. So I complained about the glare it was giving off. They ended up replacing it free of charge.

My windshield is rather pitted much the same as all of you describe. I used the ammoNYC videos to clean and polish my windshield and it did remove things but it did not remove the pits (as I expected). I just thought because I bought the car used, it was a well used car lol. Turns out people are having issues also! Interesting. My side windows are
Flawless though!

I live in KY and mine is the same way. Luckily we get free windshields here if they are chipped....might have to look into that or start throwing rocks at my windshield.

Give the screen a good polish with a Rayon glass pad and some cerium oxide.

The CarPro CeriGlass kit is also a good alternative.

Yea as mention above buying a clay bar would do most of it. Autoglym sells a polisher design for windshields and windows (non-tinted) it works pretty good.
