Seen a few drifting videos....but this one is definitely hardcore!!!....
Are they doing this on public road? i.e illegally?...if yes, then no pity from me....Hope some T Cut will sort the car out!....hahahhaa.... If it's an organised legal event, then...yes terrible tragedy... |

All these activities are illegal in Saudi. But it still happens as these arabic teenagers change the spots where they drift. All or most of these cars are on rent and fully insured with some access, so nothing to loose except their lives / arms/ legs. IF you have 3 accidents on rented cars, you get black listed however your friends can always rent it for you and add you as second drivers. I was not surprised when I saw young arabics in Saudi Hospitals post RTAs and same applies to their hospitals dealing with disable people. Young arabs having spinal cord compressions / vertebral fractures ---> wheel chair bound. From the policing point of view, Police need massive work force to control such events and if such events happens every week, would police be able to control these lads? There is another video on youtube where a single police car tried to stop such chaps and ended up running from that event as few 4X4s started hitting police car. Saudi Government has made few videos for awareness purposes....but as somebody said...money > talent so none goes to brain. I think Saudi people should make plenty of racing / drifting tracks and let these people play with the cars on the tracks rather risking their and others lives.

Far from fake. It's a 100mph accident. What did you expect to happen...?!
I've witnessed the aftermath of a horrific accident like this, where the young male driver was thrown out of the car laying there dying over 30-40ft from the trashed beyond recognition motor vehicle. Very sad, and a night I'll never forget. RIP

Jesus that's bad
Surely no seat belts??? I thought your chances of surviving a high speed crash increased if you rolled like this rather than hit something They were thrown like rag dolls. Unless the seat belts failed hard to imagine, the glass smashed and their arms went out the window pinned under the car and presumably ripped off under the weight as it rolled. An old boss of mine crashed a hire car on the m6 toll we me in it. Bloody tires bald, been raining back end went, spun several times heading for central reservation at 70mph. I just pulled my arms tight in over my head convinced it was going to smash and flip. Luckily bounced us back out few more spins but never rolled. |

Speeds up... It's in a terrifying roll.. Have you never seen a racing car roll? I really don't get ultra sceptical people.. It's like an addiction.
Oh well. Believe what you wish.

I've seen a lot of bad accidents, but this is in my top 5.
Glad it was a single car demolition though. |

Because people don't want to believe how horrific it is. They zoomed in on the arm because they saw it. The whole accident was very visible and in shot, the fact an arm came off isn't that bad. The head and neck injuries would have been devestating.

Why were there so many people standing watching and filming, seemed more like a regular road than some kind of unofficial drift demo.

Absolute lunatics!
I can't say I have any sympathy for any of the drivers or occupants of these cars,it's the innocent bystanders (NOT spectators) that suffer from shite like that. It's amazing that the Saudi's allow it to happen.

its either crash testing Saudi style or a modern version of death race 2000 where they score points for mowing people down. what makes me laugh is the way they just drive away after mowing 3-4 people down. just hope none of them come to uk to go rallying!
