Who here runs meth with a BOV?

Hey guys,

Just curious to see who in Aus runs meth with a BOV and not diverter valves.

I'm aware if you run a 50/50 mix with distilled water the meth is not flammable, so I have no intention of running a higher concentrate than 50/50.

Do you get much meth spray out in the engine bay when letting off the throttle?

Is your engine bay filthy due to this?

Happy to here anyone's opinion if you run a BOV or why I should consider swapping to DV's.

Meth sprays on boost, which is opposite to when the BOV opens.

I am running my methbung right after my bov. But as above poster stated, meth sprays when
Bov is closed. I have seen YouTube videos of it spraying out though which is why I made mine the way i did

Just out of curiosity why are you going meth?

I had always stayed away mainly due to the fact it can be quite costly to run meth to the standard I wanted to (Aquamist HS-4 system and advan tank would be $3k + installed) and personally had seen some systems that looked poorly integrated in the engine bay with poor wiring and poorly placed meth pumps.

Dont get me wrong meth systems have a great impact on lowering IAT's (this providing more power) and possibly also helping to minimise carbon buildup on the intake valves, but BFYB E85 is easier to integrate and provides great power for those guys who are FBO with the stock snails who are seeking more power.

Having said that has anyone here run meth in conjunction with E85 on stock snails, what sorta power did you put out with meth prior/after E85?

Personally being FBO with E85 i would be spending my $ in upgrading turbos before shelling out for a meth system.

P.S I have seen a AW engine bay that was running meth and it was pretty filthy (no idea if this was due to just the meth or just the generic road grime oil vapour)
