LET 135i hits 377whp / 414wtrq!!!

Saw this thread on MBworld.

http://www.mbworld.org/forums/c32-am...p-414wtrq.html

Why have I never seen any LET Motorsports posts on the home of the N54 engine?

They post in the 1addicts commercial forum, and HP Autowerks does their flashes as well, dunno why they don't post in e90post.

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...ight=stage+III

His baseline is at 276hp/282tq putting his gains at 100+hp on a MUSTANG dyno

Because that's a Mustang dyno and if you look closely at their nearly unreadable scans, it appears to read "377 with WCF". If that was 377WHP on a mustang dyno the car would be running low 11s which ain't happening with just a tune.

More likely translation is "377 (crank) HP with Wheel Correction Factor"

Someone needs to get some of these mean flash N54s to a track so we can get a real number out of them.

While I've not dyno'd on one myself, that sounds like LET is claiming their car is making,, hmmm.... (228 / 300 = 24% loss stock, 377WHP * 1.24 = ~ 468 HP). There's a bit of wiggle room here, but compared to their own stock numbers and what others seem to dyno at on Mustang dynos, that car would be putting out close to 500 crank HP.

If that were true it would be close to running 10s at 125-127mph in a 1/4mi race (i.e., good race for a Z06 Vette). If it can do that, my check is in the mail.

if ur responding to bavarian's post......I dont care if the hand of god is powering the car, a 135 is not trapping 125mph+ on the stock snails.

Read the posts .... different dyno, location, car, weather, stage!

First is stage 1 … gained about 44 whp from stock.

Stage 3 is the one getting 377 whp …. We don’t know the baseline for this car. Let say it’s about avg … 275 whp. You are getting 100 whp with stage 3 with all the goodys on the car. It’s not that hard, is it?

I agree..but he is under the assumption that 377whp is tune only, which it isn't

probably not that hard to figure out, but thanks for taking the time. Now we need to see a baseline dyno of that 135i which will probably never happen

Even if the stock baseline is 276whp, then that mustang dyno is calculated to read like a dynojet.
A stock N54 car will put down ~240 (+/- 10whp) on a properly calibrated MD.

We have localy a stronger ,custom tuned, 135i than the above. Hits 383whp on a mastung dyno which is equal to 400+ whp in Dynojet.

LET Motorsports flash is what Harold from HP Autoweks is running right now and he is extremely happy with the flash.
Those numbers are real and very impressive!

LET Motorsports is local and one of the local drag strips opens in a week. It would be nice to see them run in person.

If you're talking about me, up to my first reply nowhere was there any info that stated the LET 135 had intercooler etc. After saikelol's reply I then read the thread in 1addicts that they claimed other mods. So I know it's got IC etc.

The OP just wasn't clear on what exactly what was done to the car. So some of us were a little confused that's all.

I hope they can make it to the strip and blast off some times cuz the dynos sure look good and their ETs from last year ST2 were pretty respectable as well.
