Could go for the full exposed lip like this: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=805337
or a fade something like this: https://elements.bimmian.com/product...__Photo__2.jpg Sorry I realize both are e92, couldn't find an e90 at the moment |

Yes, definitely! Additionally car is black so what difference painting it and leaving exposed lip like other have suggested would do? If car is silver, red, yellow or white I can see that, but on black car? Completely redundant. I would paint it only after is faded beyond repair.

I'd leave it all glossy CF or paint black but leave small unpainted CF details such as ducktail and licence plate area

Would recommend a duckbill spoiler painted the same as the car and leave the rest of the trunk carbon. would look nice in my taste.
But with no cosmetic mods added. I would recommend only painting the top portion of the trunk and leave rear end carbon for a different look. different from most crowds. |

+1 . Although I like the picture 2 before me. Post pics after you get yours back. I'm BSM as well and am curious of the outcome.
