Is a 6fl equivalent retrofit now available post 04/07, according to BMW UK this part is available in the UK within the last couple of weeks (see first pic below)????

As you will see this is different from the "old" Ipod interface retrofit (see second pic below):

You did notice that the availability was 2007 rather than 2008? There has been a USB retrofit available in Europe for some time but it doesn't work with Professional radio or nav (which is all we get in the US thus it's not available here).

Yes, I was told that this was a new part but it seems not, and BMW dealer have confirmed that the usb interface can't be fitted to car with professional sat nav.

However, I have today been advised of the following by BMW UK, on a different part number:

""We have contacted our Parts Department who have confirmed that this current part number 65 41 0 443 678 is on hold in BMW Germany at present, as it is being redeveloped and therefore not available to order at the moment. They have also stated that this retrofit kit will not work with vehicles that have a professional radio"

Maybe part number 65 41 0 443 678 is the retrofit part required for USB with prof sat nav, time will tell?

I've been searching and I've been told that the ipod interface kit part number is: 65110403650. Another dealer said it was 65410412881. And searching on real OEM parts I found yet another part number, 65410404330.

Does each part number supercede the other one? And if so which one is up to date?

I live in Lima, Peru (South America) and I'm taking delivery on a 2008 330i with professional radio and no NAV system.

Any help with these part numbers is appreciated, I'm going down to Miami next week and want to purchase it but want to make sure that it will work with my car.

The image above is NOT the 6FL/USB option. It is the MOST interface that the dealer installs.

The text says "Various MP3 players or USB sticks can be connected." According to the image above, the only way it can attach MP3 players is if the connector is EXACTLY the same as the iPod connector, and so it would only be iPod devices.
