Just curious, do you use gasket sealant when you sew them back up? I used P-Tex black on mine, she's been dry for over a year and 20,000 miles. IMO the oil pan gasket design totally sucks.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

It's a terrible design. I use very very little. I'll do a pea sized amount every inch or so all the way around then flatten it with my finger. I use 3m sealant.
