can anyone recommand me a good custom computer site?
Im looking to buy a new computer.. being a little picky ass I am, I want to build my own custom computer.
don't get me wrong, I have always built my own computers in the past but Im too busy to play with screw drivers at home these days. so, can anyone recommand some good websites where they build custom computers for you for good price?

overpriced.
i'd say go dell unless you have certain spec in your mind. i've been building computers but i've come to a conclusion that dell is the way to go. you can save money (a lot) and it seems...quite reliable(?) btw, if you really wanna build one, just build one...it takes 2 hours to setup everything. (putting things together, window installation, and internet) there isnt much to it...just |

Do you know what components you want? Usually a local shop will put a computer together for you no?
In Vancouver I can think of half a dozen reputable computer shops that will configure to the exact components you want...you must have the same in Portland... |

After you have the parts together in one place it takes about 15 minutes to put one together.
Usually 6 screws for the mother board to the case, then 4 more screws for the HD and 4 more for the power supply then 4 more for the DVD burner... The rest is quick plug and play... Save yourself a few $$$ and find that 15 minutes to build one the way you want it. |

I've purchased from them in the past, and their service is HORRIBLE.
Stay away, far away.

Not sure about ABS.... rather go with Alienware with that price. Dell is the way to go.. My first Dell lasted for 6years+ and I'm sure it would've lasted another 2-3. I'm not sure if I like costum building computers, compatibility is an issue.
