Will it look funny if I just lower the front and not the rear?

I have a 5 1/2" lip on my rear wheels. Retrodrive advised me that those wheels may rub even if I roll the fenders if I lower the car because of the big lip of the wheels.

So, here's just a thought:

Will the car look funny if I just lower the front with 1" Eibach Pro-Kit springs and leave the rear alone?

Thanks!

I wouldn't lower the front too much, but it might look ok...depends on how radical the drop is.

Wont look funny but the different spring rates will mess up your handling.

+10000

If you want height adjustability, get a set of coils so you can put it to whatever height you desire.

Yeah, yeah, thats real smart. Raise the back and slam the front, and look like your ready to take dick up your ass. Thats the way to do.

NOT.

Just lower the whole thing, don't after market springs come in a set of 4?
If you get the front done, might as well get the rear done while at it.

I second that... Coilovers are the only way you can get away with different front/rear height.

Right... I think that for the most part all the e92 really "NEEDS" is about a 3/4-1" drop in the front, but yeah doing so without also replacing rear springs will most likely result in some pretty adverse handling...

But, I am willing to bet that some coil overs, and corner balancing might achieve the appropriate drop without adverse effects.

we drive between yorba linda and buena park/cypress area regularly. occasionally, we'll drive to rowland heights and little tokyo too. so it's either me or my fiance driving it. but actually, we go all over the place! we love driving the car. to give you an idea, we put on 4000 miles in 2 months! and if she reads this, i got it in steptronic cuz of her! otherwise, the car would be a 6MT. hehe.

well, we trade off between her Z4 and the 335. although the Z4 has a BMW roundel on the hood, it's a night and day difference between driving the Z4 and the 335i. her Z4 is the 3.0i.
