What's the problem - throttle not working, it works both ways you know.

still keep mine on map5 with FBO rain or shine, even the missus drives it no problems, she doesn't even notice any difference from standard. (just as well as i haven't mentioned it).

Fourth and finally.... For the record I would like to state that I was driving within the speed limit at all times, and in no way was driving in a manner that was prohibited on public roads. I would also like to add that the thread is in no way designed to encourage dangerous driving on public roads or any other roads. Should I call my lawyer?

Haha no need for the fourth mate cheers I've been good, but busy. Hopefully get a bit of time now to jump back in on here even though I've not got the e90 anymore. hope all's well with you old chap?

Same for me - but Meth is only for the windscreen at the moment!!

But i do find jb4 is a little too aggressive at small throttle inputs. I now have G5 ISO and have changed the throttle response value under Future Use A - this means I get stockish boost for the first 30% of pedal travel and then smooth power upto 100% throttle. It's more manageable now to get on the power exiting a bend.

I hear the newest firmware smoothes lower throttle inputs too, will install that this week...

For the first two weeks I had mine it didn't stop raining. Traction control was cutting in a lot, even on slip roads giving it some from 30-40mph. Much better in the dry, but I am looking forward to summer temps.

Quaife plus remap plus gritted roads means I'm inadvertently power-sliding quite a bit at the moment. At least the diff means it's easy to control when it does happen - no snap oversteer or anything.

OT......

How is the G5 ISO Phil? Did you buy it direct from BMS? Is it worth the bother?

No...

Unless driving like a grandma anything below third is just useless for me in this weather.

I still have a boost leak which I was hoping to solve last weekend, but my mechanic was busy. With this and the weather I havent been able to up the boost past the 18 Ohm board limit anyway!

I like the new features it gives and look forward to getting the leak fixed and some dry roads to test the higher boost limits.

But for $150 I suspect its a no brainer!

No problems with 'Grip' here, but that may change when the car gets treated to a re-map.

Anyone struggling now we are down below zero and with roads covered in grit? Traction control was on a fair bit today on cold tyres.
