What's the problem - throttle not working, it works both ways you know.
still keep mine on map5 with FBO rain or shine, even the missus drives it no problems, she doesn't even notice any difference from standard. (just as well as i haven't mentioned it). |

But i do find jb4 is a little too aggressive at small throttle inputs. I now have G5 ISO and have changed the throttle response value under Future Use A - this means I get stockish boost for the first 30% of pedal travel and then smooth power upto 100% throttle. It's more manageable now to get on the power exiting a bend. I hear the newest firmware smoothes lower throttle inputs too, will install that this week...

For the first two weeks I had mine it didn't stop raining. Traction control was cutting in a lot, even on slip roads giving it some from 30-40mph. Much better in the dry, but I am looking forward to summer temps.

Quaife plus remap plus gritted roads means I'm inadvertently power-sliding quite a bit at the moment. At least the diff means it's easy to control when it does happen - no snap oversteer or anything.

How is the G5 ISO Phil? Did you buy it direct from BMS? Is it worth the bother? |

'335i/d Can you boys put the power down?'
No... Unless driving like a grandma anything below third is just useless for me in this weather. |

I like the new features it gives and look forward to getting the leak fixed and some dry roads to test the higher boost limits. But for $150 I suspect its a no brainer!

No problems with 'Grip' here, but that may change when the car gets treated to a re-map.
