My new BMW.....sort of ;-)

Well I'm a sucker for the blue and white propellor and have been riding BMW's for the last 10 years

I took delivery of a mint K1200GT SE in graphite grey so it matches my car

150 BHP of luxury touring loveliness

Has heated seats, electric screen, heated grips, xenon lights, cruise control etc etc etc

It does have the colour coded side panniers but it won't fit through my front gate with them on

Here is Billy the Beemer

not the best pictures but you will get the gist.

Question

Love seeing BMW bikes on the road, they are like our long lost cousins.

Your bike has a great spec even for an average car as already said! It would look the nuts if you got rid of the front screen and rear box. Maybe in the summer?

You can adjust the height as you go. It enables you to hit the sweet spot with no buffeting etc.

When its a hot day you can lower it for the wind in the hair experience.......

Along with the flies

Nothing wrong with that

Years of riding bikes made my hair disappear ... honest !

Nice bike !! You can't go to wrong with BMW's as bikes these days ... now they have moved on from the R1100 ... which I hated ! R1200 is totally different ... and the others are lovely
