You are free to do as you please, the fitment is actually solid. Lol I never get why people particularly get butt hurt about this M3 poser crap. A mod is a mod, whether some consider it tasteful or not its up to the owner so just ignore the haterade...PS what kind of bumper did you originally have.?

^agree with this guy completely.
That pic on the second page is pretty much an m3. Way too many m3 parts going on. One part is fine, two is pushing it, three is ridiculous. If I were to spend almost $3000 like you just did, I would have spent the little extra and went for a widebody conversion. |

Just a definition of "Posing"
"set oneself up as or pretend to be (someone or something)." I don't think the OP or even myself for that matter, are trying to be M3's, if we were badging our cars "M3" I would agree with some of you that we would be posing. But we aren't badging them this way and we have to over explain ourselves in our threads that we are not trying to be an m3. So... not pretending to be something we are not, hence, not posing. We like the fenders. We like the style they give. Basically it's the reason why we purchased them. Anyone in the Bimmer community will take one look at our cars and say "not an m3" those that aren't, may think it is, but do you really think we are trying to fool people that aren't in the community into thinking we drive an M3? Then why not badge it as such? We don't badge it because we are not trying to fool people into thinking we drive an m3. I see people running M3 front bumpers all the time, and they don't get this kind of negativity, for the most part. So a bumper is ok but fenders aren't?!? They are both body parts... I myself like the way MY car looks. Everyone I have shown it to likes the way it looks. If you don't then just move along. Like some say "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all" and I know I'll get the people that say "it's the internet" "freedom of speech" yes. You have that right. You definitely have the right to be an asshole and a douchebag to a complete stranger you have never met who is just trying to share his/her joy of modding their vehicle with others. But I guess "haters gonna hate" that will never change.

Since there are only so many mods available and so many options for body panels and colors specifically, basically everyone modding their cars is similar to something else out there and copying something they have seen and like. Unless you design you own panels and have them custom made, your car looks similar to someone else's. Imho The choice to like and use M3 body panels is just one of the options.
I do agree with the post that said sitting next to a real M3 with one that looks similar would bother me so not the direction I would go but OP's car looks nice and came out great.
